How do I log in to Pearson Places?

You can access Pearson Places from your ReadCloud bookshelf.

From your ReadCloud bookshelf, find the Pearson Places web tile and tap the tile to open up Pearson Places inside ReadCloud. 

Please note that on iOS only, Pearson Places will open in an external browser on your device.

If this login box appears, please enter your Pearson Places credentials. You should only need to do this when you access Pearson Places via ReadCloud for the first time. Upon entering your Pearson credential, you should be logged in to your Pearson bookshelf.

Troubleshooting

If following the steps above takes you to the Pearson login screen below, please try resetting your Pearson Places password.

How to reset your Pearson Places password

When the Pearson login page appears, enter your school email address and select "Forgot your password?".

Enter your school email address and Pearson will send you an email instruction. Please follow the instruction until you have successfully reset your password.

Once you updated your password, please make sure the correct password is saved in the ReadCloud app. Follow the next step to update your password inside ReadCloud. 

How do I save or update my password for the online resource in the ReadCloud app?

From your ReadCloud bookshelf, either right-click on the publisher's web tile or click on the three dots on the bottom right corner below the publisher's web tile.

(If you can't locate the three dots, make sure you have the latest version by downloading the ReadCloud app from here.)

Select Edit login data

Enter your login credential for this particular website and select Save.

If you have entered a valid and correct username and password, this will log you straight into the relevant online resource or publisher's website whenever you click on the tile.
